The Transformer Maintenance Institute (TMI), SDMI's training arm, our on-site field training, engineering consultation, Analytical Services laboratory, phone consultation, and long or short term service agreements can be custom tailored to keep you fully supported throughout the life of your PCB project and ensure technical knowledge transfer upon project completion.
Equipment Training
In the event we build a piece of equipment designed to your specifications, SD Myers will provide training for your staff until they are 100% competent to operate the equipment on their own in a safe manner. We will do the training in essentially 4 stages:
Stage 1 – SD Myers personnel will operate the equipment while your personnel observe.
Stage 2 – Your staff will work alongside SDMI personnel in the operations of the equipment.
Stage 3 – Your staff operates the equipment while SDMI personnel observe.
Stage 4 – Your crew has been fully trained and can operate the equipment safely and efficiently. However, if questions arise, SDMI will provide technical and operational support over the phone.
Duration of the training will depend on the complexity of the equipment.
